The College has been around for many years...Arthur Findlay, a pioneer in the movement of Spiritualism took over the stately home and turned it into this fabulous building. When you are there you have a meditation very morning at 8am followed by an inspirational talk at 8:45am. The whole place is just mesmerising. It's a college for the development of psychic and mediumistic abilities. It also has courses in different types of healing. It's an amazing experience, one that can only truly be felt when attending. There's an energy when your there that's just indescribable. The rooms are full of ancient artefacts and paintings. There's even a small museum on the grounds which is the home to many famous mediums belongings and workings such as Gordon Higginson. I enjoyed the place so much I went again later in the year.
The second place I visited that really drew me closer to Spirituality was a trip to Thailand in the summer of 2013. Many of the people who live there follow a Buddhist way of life. I didn't meet one rude Thai native on my visit, I found this so refreshing and I knew it must be down to the way they lead there lives, so it made me even more fascinated. Me and a friend decided to visit the famous temples called 'Big Buddha' in Koh Samui. This was just fabulous, I don't know if it's just me but you get an overwhelming sense of inner peace and serenity when you visit unbelievable places. My visit to the temples very much propelled my interest in all things spiritual to a new height...
