Planning Levitation, Out-of-body experiences and Auric Fields...

This was a shoot i'd known for definite from the beginning that I wanted to do.  I had a clear vision of who I wanted to model for me...I chose my friend Sophie Penn.  I knew her look would be perfect for what I wanted to achieve.

Sophie used to be a stylist so I met with her and we began deciding what to use for the looks.  I had shown her my main inspirational image which was from the Illamsqua Paranormal collection.  

I loved the idea of having floating white fabric.  I wanted there to be a kind of heavenly and ethereal feel.  Sophie had the perfect vintage wedding dress and floating white sheer cape.  I'd originally wanted to use a smoke machine to create an extra dimension.  After speaking with the studio directors I found out we weren't allowed.  I then asked my photographer If we could add it in afterwards she said it was possible so we went with that.
