Beginning my Book...

I knew that it was essential for me to start creating the book layout on InDesign.  As we'd had lots of lessons for our trend package I felt confident in using InDesign.  I basically copied my Book Plan into the document.  All the images i'd already completed I swapped with my inspirational ones.  My original idea was to have everything in black.  This is why it's essential to start planning early...once it was set up i thought it's too dark I hate it.  I then began looking at books for inspiration, one in particular that caught my eye was Kevyn Aucoin's Face Forward.  I loved his smile but very impacting layout.  I decided that I would use his idea of laying all my text to the right of pages but black on white instead of my original idea.  This worked great and started to make my design look more professional.  On the word pages I put random text so again I could get an idea of how my words would look once they were in...
