Planning the first Native American shoot...

I knew that I wanted one of my Native americans to look like she was becoming the spirit animal, almost wolf-like.  On the day of shooting I had bought hair extensions to create a fur kind of feel...It didn't look right at all, the hair was synthetic and it completely over powered my shoot.  From other things I had researched I liked the idea of creating a feather head piece but using hair as the main focal point.  Makeup isn't always my strongest area so i decided to use Lorna Pratt's skills to help complete my look.  I knew this would be a great combination for creating the perfect look.  I sent her a reference from Alex Box, that I wanted to use as the foundation for the look...

The inspiration for my hair look came on the day...I don't always look at an exact picture to get inspiration I get a feel from images and then just go with it...
